WILLIAM O. WRIGHT

William O. Wright passed away at Greenfield, Ia., Monday, March 13, 1944. He was born January 16, 1888 and was 56 years old.

He was the son of Gile and Margaret Wright, both preceding him in death. Most of life was spent in the community of Winterset and Des Moines, excepting a few years spent on the west coast.

He was a veteran of World War I and served in France in the field artillery as a first sergeant.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Maude McCullough Wright of Greenfield; three brothers, Roy of Osceola, Ray and Fred of Winterset; besides a number of nieces and nephews and distant relatives.

William Wright had been in failing health for the last few years, taking serously ill last spring at which time he was taken to the Veterans hospital in Des Moines and was later brought to his home in Greenfield.

Funeral services were held from the Anderson home for funerals Thursday, March 16th at 2 p.m., Rev. Tom Fogleson officiating.

Note: Burial was made in Winterset Cemetery.
