Wednesday, March 1, 1922Death Of NAOMI JESSUP
Little Naomi Ruth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jessup, died at her home in Winterset, Sunday morning, Feb. 26th.
The child, not quite six years old, was a great favorite, by reason of her quiet nature, bright smile and quick mind. She was in school last week, taking part in the children's program given on Thursday afternoon before the Parent-Teachers' Association. Diabetes and stomach trouble had been troubling her for some time, causing death to come suddenly.
Funeral services were conducted from the Church of Christ on Monday afternoon, E. B. Chancellor, minister of that church, being in charge. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Because of her beautiful disposition, her quiet nature and her lasting smile, she won many friends during her brief journey here, and she goes from the earth she leaves a beautiful and helpful record.
She also leaves to hold her in cherished memory the father, mother, grandparents, great grandparents, uncles, aunts, and other relatives. School mates, Sunday school classmates, teachers, and all others who knew her, are numbered among her friends.
