MACKSBURG SERVICE FOR ALBERT WELCH

Funeral services were held last Thursday at Macksburg for Albert Welch, a long-time resident of that community.

Mr. Welch died on Monday, Sept. 25. He was 77 years of age.

He was born on Jan. 31, 1874, at Corning, Iowa. Most of his active life was spent as a farmer and carpenter in the Macksburg neighborhood.

Officiating at the services last Thursday was the Rev. Wilkins of Lorimor. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
