Services for Esther Louise Christensen, 84, Truro, were held Saturday, Oct. 30, 1982, at 2 p.m. at the Kale Funeral Home, Truro, with the Rev. Phillip Hall officiating. Burial was in the St. Charles Cemetery.
Mrs. Christensen was born Aug. 25, 1898 in Madison County, the daughter of Ersie Brobst and Ranee Mae Allen. She attended Madison County schools and married Otto Christensen Sept. 28, 1919. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winterset.
Survivors include her husband, daughters, Loree Rockey and husband Harry of Truro and Marcella Hiatt and husband Morris of Winterset; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Everett Brobst; and a great grandson.
