MRS. FRANK MARTIN OF WINTERSET DIES

Death Occurred Monday at Memorial Hospital, Aged 78 Years

Mrs. Frank G. Martin, a life-long resident of this community, died Monday, September 17, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She had been in failing health for more than a year.

Mrs. Martin was 78 years of age at her death. She was the former Mrya Belle Rollstin, daughter of Porter and Nancy Jane Rollstin, and was born near Winterset June 4, 1873.

She was married Nov. 11, 1911, to Frank G. Martin. They were the parents of one daughter, Lois.

Mrs. Martin had joined the First Baptist church of Winterset at an early age, and remained active in its affairs for many years. She was also a member of the Daughters of Union veterans.

She is survived by her husband; the daughter, Mrs. John Hartley; two step-sons, Clifford and Rex Martin; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Captola Holmes.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday morning from the Richards Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. E. D. Rapp, pastor of the Winterset Baptist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
