Wednesday, September 12, 1951SUEL L. SNELSON OF WINTERSET DIES
Had Engaged in Automobile Repair Business Here for 18 Years
Suel L. Snelson, who had been in the garage and car repair business in Winterset for the past 18 years, died last Wednesday, Sept. 5 at his home here. He had been in ill health for several years. He was 42 years of age.
Mr. Snelson was a native of Missouri, where he was born Oct. 13, 1908, at Almartha, a son of George and Prudence Shindler Snelson. He came to Iowa in 1930 and was married here to Mary Marxen on June 11, 1930.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Francis Eugene; his mother; and four sisters, Mrs. Zelva Vest, Mrs. Zelpha Robinett, Mrs. Gay Ferrall, and Mrs. Syble Byrd, all of Kansas City, Kan.
Funeral services were held Friday from the Richards Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Earl Travis of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
