Ralph Rogers, 62, of Heber Springs, Ark., died at home April 19, 1994. Funeral services were held April 22, 1994 at the Olmstead Chapel with the Rev. Carl Strayhorn officiating. Burial was at the Cleburne County Memorial Gardens in Arkansas.

He was born June 28, 1931 to Raymond Anderson and Estella May (Johnston) Rogers. He had been a resident of Heber Springs since 1977. He was a retired brick mason and a farmer. He was the youngest brick layer indentured into Local Union #2 in Iowa at the age of 20. He was an engineer in the Army Air Force and a paratrooper in the Korean War. He was a Methodist.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Delores (Lydon) Rogers of Heber Springs, Ark.; two sons, Michael Rogers of North Little Rock, Ark., and Richie Rogers of Heber Springs, Ark.; one brother, Leo Rogers of Winterset; three sisters, Rose Marie Niblo, Genevieve Mills and Evelyn Spencer, all of Winterset; and two grandchildren.
