IDA ANDREWS SERVICE HELD ON WEDNESDAY

Former Resident Here Died Monday at Clarinda, Aged 85 Years

Ida M. Andrews, former resident of this community, died Monday, May 7, at Clarinda, where she had spent the past 52 years. She was 85 years of age.

Miss Andrews was born in Indiana, Aug. 8, 1865, a daughter of Henry and Hannah Landis Andrews. She came here with her family in 1888. Her parents, two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

Nearest surviving relatives are a brother-in-law, V. L. Taylor of Winterset; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ella Andrews, of Clearfield.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday from Richards Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the McDonald cemetery.
