OBITUARY

Ruth Crawford was born September 19, 1897 and passed from this life April 2, 1951.

She graduated from the Earlham Academy in 1917 and attended the Iowa State Teachers College, then taught school.

She was married October 16, 1920 to Harry L. Chestnutwood and to this union were born two sons, Junior of Adel and Robert now with the army. In early life she joined the Early Chapel church near Earlham, then later transferred her membership to the Methodist church at DeSoto.

Ruth had a sweet loving way and although her voice will never more be heard her memory will be cherished in our hearts forever.

Funeral services were held at the Welch Funeral Home Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in charge of C. A. Crouse, pastor of the Earlham Methodist church. Interment was in the Earlham cemetery.
