Mary Iola Weeter, 69, of Jackson, Ga., and a former Winterset resident, died Dec. 7, 2006, in Atlanta, Ga.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Jackson with Wayne Dudley officiating.
Mary Weeter was born July 11, 1937, in Oskaloosa to Charles Cecil and June Eilene (Schwab) Holder. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Cecil Holder and June (Schwab) Vaughn and stepfather, William Vaughn.
She is survived by her husband, Duane Weeter of Jackson, Ga.; one daughter, Lisa Statham of Jackson, Ga.; one son, Chris Weeter of Dallas, Ga.; a sister, Sharron Kuhns of Waukee; and nine grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Sherrell-Wilson-Mangham Funeral Home in Jackson, Ga.
