Lloyd E. Ritter, a resident of Madison Manor North, died this Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 13. He was 95 years of age.
Funeral services for Mr. Ritter will be held Thursday at 1:30 at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.

Lloyd E. Ritter, 95, of Winterset passed away there Nov. 13, 1979. His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday November 15th at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with burial at Moon Cemetery at Macksburg, Iowa.
He was born near Macksburg, July 17, 1884, the son of F. Marion and Rachel Ellen McKibben Ritter. On October 2, 1907, he was married at Winterset to Lora Simpson who survives.
A retired farmer, who lived most of his life in Union and Madison counties, he is also survived by a son, Lloyd Elmer Ritter of Boone, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews in this area.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers (including Ernest Ritter of Afton) and one daughter, Mrs. Glen (Florence) Paulus of Afton, who died March 26, 1978.

Funeral services were held on Thursday at the Collins Funeral Home. Burial was at the Moon Cemetery at Macksburg ---------------------.
Born July 17, 1884 at Macksburg he was the son of Francis Marion and Rachel Ellen McKibben Ritter. He was married to Lora Simpson on October 2, 1907 at Winterset.

Also surviving is a son, Lloyd Elmer Ritter, of Boone, five grancchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
