Lora Ritter, Winterset

Graveside services for Lora Ritter, 98, Winterset, who died Nov. 23 at the Care Center North where she resided, were held at the Moon Cemetery at Macksburg with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating.

Born at Macksburg on Aug. 22, 1889, she was the daughter of John and Emma Gilbert Simpson. She was married to Lloyd E. Ritter on Oct. 2, 1907 at Winterset. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of the county.

Survivors include a son, Elmer of Boone; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother, and three sisters.
