Russell E. Rinard, Stillwater, Okla.

Russell Earl Rinard, formerly of Booneville, died Oct. 25 at a hospital in Stillwater, Okla., at the age of 66. The body was cremated and private family services are pending. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.

Born on Aug. 22, 1917 near DeSoto, he was the son of William Bert and Lucy Davidson Rinard. He was a graduate of DeSoto School. He was married to Mary Maxine Allen in 1937. He was retired from Oklahoma State University where he had been employed for several years.

He is survived by two daughters, Terri Bradshaw of Altoona and Judith Rinard of Des Moines, two sons, Larry of Van Meter and Jimmie of Winterset; nine grandchildren. He also is survived by two brothers, Carole of Lubbock, Texas, and Harold of Burbank, Calif.; five sisters, Evelyn Bomar of Winterset, Mary Mintle of Melrose, Hilda Sandusky of Clear Lake, Bonnie Feldman of Van Meter and Peggy Cunningham of Portland, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter, Sharon Kay Peters, parents, brother Max, half-brother Ralph Rush and half-sister Rosa Mae Rinard.
