ANNA RINGGENBERG DIED ON SUNDAY

Widely-Known Resident of Winterset Was 65 Years Of Age

Mrs. Arthur B. Ringgenberg of Winterset died Sunday, June 3 at Memorial hospital here. She was 65 years of age, and had been failing health for some time.

Mrs. Ringgenberg was born near Ankeny, in Polk county, on Oct. 22, 1896. She was the former Anna Elizabeth Parmenter, daughter of John and Velma Cruickshank Parmenter. She had lived in Madison county since 1937.

At one time she was engaged in operating a flower shop. She was a past matron of the Eastern Star lodge, and a member of the Rebekahs and Columbian club. Her church membership here was with the Winterset Methodist, in which she was active in the Women's Society of Christian Service.

In addition to her husband; she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Velma Parmenter of Ankeny; four children, Mrs. Merville Alleman of Alleman, Robert P. Ringgenberg of Peru, Leona Ringgenberg of Des Moines and Dr. John L. Ringgenberg of Storm Lake; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and the following brothers and sisters; Ora Parmenter, Mrs. Edgar Warrington and Mrs. E. A. Howard, all of Ankeny, Ed P. Parmenter of Ankeny, Harry Parmenter of Park Rapids, Minn., Rolla Parmenter of Chicago, Lee Parmenter of Des Moines and Earl Parmenter of Tucson, Ariz.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Winterset Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. John C. Porath. Burial was made at Lincoln cemetery in Alleman, with grave-side services there in charge of the Rev. Mr. Bauch of the Church of Christ there.
