LESLIE R. SMITH Of Truro Died Nov. 18

Leslie R. Smith of Truro, a Madison county resident since 1921, died Thursday, Nov. 18, at Clarke county hospital in Osceola. He was a retired engineer and mechanic.

Mr. Smith was 79 years of age at his death. He was a native of Clarke county, where he was born Sept. 5, 1886, a son of Francis A. and Vesta Stacey Smith. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Mr. Smith was married at Jamison on June 21, 1916,to Edith McGee, who survives him.

Funeral services were held Nov. 20 from the Truro Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. James Nicholson of Truro. Burial was made in the New Virginia cemetery.
