JEAN J. SMITH, Des Moines

Jean J. Smith, 67, died of a stroke on September 11, 1992, at the Ramsey Home in Des Moines. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 14, at the Ankeny Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born in Lime Spring, Iowa in 1925. She lived in Des Moines most of her life and was employed as a surgical nurse in Des Moines hospitals.

Surviving relatives are two sisters, Alla E. Williams of Cresco, and Helen Steuer of Hawkeye; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
