IRA SMITH - Former Citizen Dies in Texas

Ira Smith, for many years one of the prominent farmers of Lee township, died Monday at San Antonio, Texas, where himself and wife were spending the winter.

Several years since, Mr. and Mrs. Smith moved to Des Moines, giving over the management of their fine Lee township farm to their sons. Des Moines papers announce that funeral services will be held today at the Smith home 5625 Grand avenue.
