PAUL ROGERS, AGE 4, DIES AT MACKSBURG

Leukemia victim Had Been Waging 18-Month Battle for Life

Paul Rogers, 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Rogers of near Macksburg, died at his home there last Wednesday, Jan. 4. He had been ill for the last 18 months with leukemia.

The child was born and spent his entire life in the Macksburg community. He is survived by his parents, a brother, Kenneth; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rogers of Macksburg and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Ball of New Virginia.

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Macksburg Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. Ben Hamilton. Burial was made in Moon cemetery.
