On Feb. 7th, 1916, the angel of death visited the home of C. C. and F. B. Schoonover and called for their little son, James Wesley, aged 8 years and 26 days.
Funeral services were conducted by George W. Green of Madrid and the body laid to rest in the Hamblin cemetery.
This short life brought much sunshine into the home and his presence wil be greatly missed by his parents, brothers and many friends.

Mr.and Mrs. C. C. Schoonover's youngest son, James, aged eight years, died Feb. 7th, after a few days illness. The funeral was preached by Rev. Green, Wednesday at Fellowship church. The large offering of flowers showed the sympathy felt for the bereaved parents.
Note: Burial was in the Hamblin cemetery
