Glenn Garrett Ramsey, Earlham

Services for Glenn Ramsey were held June 14 at the Earlham United Methodist Church with Rev. Helen Farr officiating.

Glenn Garrett Ramsey, the daughter of Menary S. and Margret Hodson Garrett, was born September 10, 1888 and passed away June 11, 1988 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Glenn graduated from The Earlham Academy in 1905 with her sister Inez.

Glenn married Earl Ramsey March 16, 1910 and they moved to North Dakota to stake out a claim. They later returned to the area of Dallas and Madison counties where they farmed many years. Glenn has lived in Earlham for the last 15 years. She was active in the Earlham United Methodist Church as long as she was able.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl; three brothers, Bruce, Kenneth and Paul, and two sisters, Inez and Gladys.

She is survived by two grand nephews, Darrell and Darwin McKibben; three great grandnephews, Scott, Sam and Shawn McKibben; one great grand niece, Leslie Chenoweth; one great, great and grand nephew, Justin McKibben, other relatives and many friends.
