He Was Penn-Dixie Company Employee for 22 Years
James B. Tracy, an employee of the Penn-Dixie Cement company in Madison county for 22 years, died Friday, Nov. 23, at the Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 62 years of age.
Mr. Tracy was a native of Adair county, where he was born Jan. 6, 1894, a son of Edward and Margaret Minner Tracy. He lived in Adair county until 1934, when he moved to this community. For the last 12 years he had lived in Winterset.
He was married Jan. 9, 1918 to Tressa Campfield. They were parents of a son, James. The wife and son survive.
In addition to the wife and son, he leaves a sister, Mrs. Margaret Miller of Greenfield, and a brother, John Tracy.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Warren Hile, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
