Miss Anna Foster, who has been in declining health for a year or more, was taken suddenly worse on Monday with hemorrhage of the lungs. Dr. Maulsby was immediately summoned, but she had passed the reach of human aid, and at 1:30 a. m., on Tuesday, God’s finger touched her and she slept.

Impressive funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Earlham Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. J. S. Roddy. The floral decorations at the church were profuse and very beautiful. The grave was also nicely decorated.

Miss Anna Foster was 23 years of age, and was formerly a teacher in the Indian school at Genoa, Nance county, Nebraska, only leaving about one year ago on account of poor health. Her grace of character and loving ways made her a favorite of all who were thrown in her company. She leaves a father, three sisters, two brothers, and a host of friends to mourn her sad death.
