Wenifred "Wendy" Rose Pullman, 68, died of a heart attack February 26 at home in Des Moines.
She was born to Lena R. and Emerald A. Pullman on August 25, 1923 in Cameron, Mo. and graduated from Winterset High School in 1941. Soon thereafter, she enlisted in the U. S. Navy, serving for four years during World War II. Upon returning she went to work for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Winterset, and Telephone Pioneers, Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Survivors include three sisters, Sylvia Benson of Winterset, LaVonne Emery of Omaha and Char Ward of Pleasant Hill.
Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
