LENA L. PULLMAN DIES AT 63 YEARS

Mrs. Lena L. Pullman, formerly of Winterset, died Wednesday, June 26, at a Des Moines hospital. She was 63 years of age.

Mrs. Pullman was the widow of the late Emerald Pullman, Sr. Born in Joplin, Mo., she lived in Winterset 37 years before moving to Des Moines last December.

She is survived by a son, Joe Pullman of Carlisle; five daughters, Wendy and Donna Pullman of Des Moines, Mrs. Bob Benson of Winterset, Mrs. George Ward of Des Moines and Mrs. John Emery of Omaha; 13 grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held Friday from the First Baptist church in Winterset conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Jack Borum, and the Rev. Joseph Balsan. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
