JOHN TAYLOR DIED NOV. 2 AT BAXTER

Life-Long Resident of This County Was 79 Years of Age

John A. Taylor, a long-time resident of Madison county, died Friday, Nov. 2, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Glenn Wheeler, in Baxter. He was 79 years of age.

Mr. Taylor was born in South township on Jan. 21, 1877, a son of Fayette and Kathryn Taylor. His life was spent in Madison county, with the exception of a year in California, and a short time in Minnesota.

He was married July 7, 1903, to Allie Shaver, who survives him. He also leaves three daughters, Mrs. Berniece Wiedmann of Sioux City, Mrs. Lew Wildin of Prole, and Mrs. Wheeler of Baxter; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Nov. 5 from the Anderson funeral home in Winterset. Burial was made in Union Chapel cemetery.
