Death Occurred Monday at Home of Son in Caldwell
Mrs. John A. Seiler, long-time resident of Madison county, died Monday, Nov. 19 at Caldwell, Ida., where she had been living the past six months with her son, Clifford Seiler.
Mrs. Seiler was a native of Fulton county, Illinois, where she was born Aug. 14, 1872, a daughter of Woods B. and Delilah Callison. When she was 12 years old she came with her parents to Madison county. They settled in Lincoln township, where she spent her early life.
She was married to John A. Seiler on Oct. 4, 1894. They made their home near and in Winterset, except for a few years in Des Moines, until moving to Idaho six months ago.
On Oct. 4 of this year she and Mr. Seiler observed their sixty-second wedding anniversary.
She is survived by her husband; five children, Mrs. Charles Grout of Winterset, Mrs. Pat Cline of Winterset, E. E. Seiler of Denver, Colo., and Clifford R. Seiler of Caldwell, Ida.
She also leaves three brothers, Clete? and Jim Callison of Winterset and Wilfred Callison of Howard, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from Anderson's Funeral home Saturday afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. William Bowles in charge. Interment will be in the Clark cemetery.
