F. A. Hoisington, member of a pioneer Madison county family, died recently at Grand Junction, Colo., at the age of 69 years.
Mr. Hoisington was born at Winterset, Nov. 21, 1886, and spent his early life here. He was a son of Andrew J. and Mary Smith Hoisington. When he was 16 years old he moved to Kansas, where he learned the printing trade. He moved to Colorado in 1908 and entered the employ of the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, where he became composing room foreman, then mechanical superintendent, and later national advertising manager and manager of the commercial printing department.
He retired in 1951, and at the time of his death was Colorado state representative from Mesa county.
He leaves his wife; and three sons, Don, of Grand Junction, Carl of Palisade, and Kenneth of Houston, Texas.
Burial was made in the Masonic cemetery at Grand Junction.
