Graveside services for Fred Pritchard, 69, Mercer, Mo., who died Jan. 12 at St. Luke's Hospital at Kansas City, Mo., were held Monday, Jan. 16 at the North McDonald Cemetery with Terry Lane officiating.
Born in Madison County May 20, 1914, he was the son of Elias and Sarah Diser Pritchard. He spent most of his life in the Peru area but lived the past five years at Mercer. Mr. Pritchard was a retired body and fender man with Crescent Chevrolet in Des Moines.
On Aug. 1, 1933 he was married to Flossie Addy at Marysville, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Dick of Ontario, Calif.; daughters, Jo Ann Callison of Afton and Konnie Horn of Winterset; a brother, Martin Pritchard of Van Meter; sisters, Lizzie Baker of Denver, Lula Hawkins of Marshalltown, Clara Carey of San Diego, Carrie Douglas of Des Moines and Sophie Clark of Winterset; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 10 brothers and a sister.
