ESTHER PRITCHARD DIED LAST FRIDAY

Death Occurred at Memorial Hospital at Age Of 64 Years

Mrs. Elias Pritchard of Winterset died last Friday, Aug. 13, at Memorial hospital here. She was 64 years of age.

Mrs. Pritchard was the former Esther Hermon, daughter of Charles and Grace DeBord Hermon. She was born in Madison county March 2, 1901.

She was married to Elias Pritchard on Dec. 24, 1920. His death occurred in 1963. She was also preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Pritchard, who died at the age of 16 years.

Mrs. Pritchard was a member of the Methodist church.

She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Bruce Kellogg of Ames; four grandchildren; three brothers, Max Hermon of Akron, Wesley Hermon of West Des Moines and Edward Hermon of Winterset; and five sisters, Mrs. Dora Hulbert of Winterset, Betty Hermon of Winterset, Mrs. Gretchen Wagner of Waterloo, Mrs. Virginia Noneck of California and Mrs. Betty Rhoads of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Monday from the First Methodist church of Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Everett Burham. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
