Wednesday, September 26, 1956MRS. WESLEY JACOBSON DIED LAST SUNDAY
Mrs. Wesley Jacobson, who was born and spent her early life in the Macksburg community, died Sunday at the Greater Community hospital in Creston, where she had lived in recent years. She was 77 years of age.
Mrs. Jacobson was a daughter of Samuel A. and Elizabeth Thompson Graham, and was born in Macksburg June 13, 1879. She moved from Madison county in 1906, and as a young woman taught school near Orient and Afton. She was married to Wesley Jacobson at Spaulding in 1909.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Dr. Marjorie Sloan, of Lynchburg, Va., and Jeanette Jacobson of Long Beach, Calif; four sons, Graham Jacobson of Cedar Falls, Wesley C. Jacobson of Silver Springs, Md., Lt. Col. Alden Jacobson of San Francisco, and Maj. Newell Jacobson of St. Louis, Mo.; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Claude Bishop of Orient; and three brothers, Walter Graham of Oil City, La., Roscoe Graham of Des Moines, and Will Graham of Spokane, Wash.
Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday afternoon from the Creston Methodist church, with burial in Spaulding.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Jacobson, Creston resident since 1935, will be held at the First Methodist church here at 2 p. m. Wednesday. Dr. A. P. Keast will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lawn cemetery at Spaulding. Her body will lie in state at the Keating and Beemer funeral home until time of the services. Mrs. Jacobson died at the Greater Community hospital here at 5:50 p. m. Sunday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Jacobson were held at the First Methodist church here at 2 p. m. today. Dr. A. P. Keast officiated. Music at the services was by Mrs. L. J. Frownfelter, organist and Mrs. Shirley Graham of Orient, vocalist. Casket bearers were George Burdette, Robert Burdette, Earl Graham, Wyman Graham, Mat Morris and Pete Augustine. Burial was in Prairie Lawn cemetery at Spaulding.
