Funeral services for Harry Francis Pratt, 81, who died October 5 at Winterset Care Center North, were held Mon., Oct. 8 at Collins Funeral Home. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

A lifelong resident of Madison County, Harry Pratt was the son of William and Cynthia Reed Pratt. Born November 7, 1908, he married Florence Mae Smith June 12, 1949. He was engaged in farming with his father in his early life and later was self-employed as a custodian and handyman in the town of Winterset.

Harry was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his step-son, Howard Smith of Ealrham; a niece, Irene Edwards of Creston; a nephew William Pratt of Sacramento, Calif., five great nieces and nephews, three step-grandchildren, nine step-great-grandchildren and 11 step-great-great-grandchildren.
