Florence May Pratt, Winterset

Services for Florence May Pratt, 91, Winterset, who died Oct. 16 at the Care Center North here where she resided, were held Thursday Oct. 18 at the Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Robert Johnston officiating. Burial was in the Moon Cemetery.

Born at Beaver Crossing, Neb. on Nov. 6, 1892, she was the daughter of David and Fannie Arasmith Stall. She was adopted while an infant and raised by Mr. and Mrs. Leo N. Pinckney of Macksburg.

She was married to Walter L. Smith on Dec. 20, 1911. He died April 24, 1942. She was married to Harry Pratt on June 12, 1949 in Winterset.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Howard Smith of Earlham; a half-brother, David Stall of Salem, Ore.; a half-sister, Lorene Smurthwaite of Portland, Ore.; three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great-great-granddaughters.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
