Funeral Wednesday For Mrs. Pratt

Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Frances Pratt, 67, of Winterset were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Collins Funeral Home with burial in the Winterset Cemetery. Mrs. Pratt died Sunday at her home.

Born on October 26, 1911 in Madison County, she was the daughter of William H. and Emma A. Vantrees Waltz. On March 2, 1941, she was married to Orville George Pratt at Winterset. A housewife, she was a lifetime resident here.

Surviving are two nephews, Merlin Collins and Gene Waltz, both of Winterset, and a sister, Grace Hermon of Earlham. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
