MRS. MARY POST DIES AT BOONE

Mrs. Mary Post, a former Madison county resident, died last Wednesday, June 21, at her home in Boone. Her death culminated a long illness. She was 80 years of age.

Mrs. Post was born Oct. 10, 1880 in Troy, Kansas. She lived in this county for many years, moving to Boone about 10 years ago.

Surviving are her husband; six sons, Art, Sam and Wilbur Post of Boone, William Post of Winterset, Milton Rogers of Mississippi and Hugh Rogers of Boone. She also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Violet McCain and Mrs. Mable Mason of Missouri; a brother, Jim McCullum of Missouri; 49 grandchildren; and 58 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Boone with burial in Boone Memorial gardens.
