Mrs. Minnie F. Porter of Winterset died Monday, Oct. 20 at a Des Moines hospital. She was 87 years of age.

Mrs. Porter was a life-time resident of Union and Madison counties. She was the former Minnie Beeber, daughter of Carl H. and Bertha Wendeler Beeber and was born in Union county March 7, 1882. She was married to Henry L. Porter, who preceded her in death. Two sons, Carl and Paul Porter, also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Earl Thomas and Bernice Porter, both of Winterset; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Porter of Henderson, Nev.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. from the Wilson Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Charles Updike, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare church. Burial was to be made in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
