Dr. Merl L. Pindell, formerly of Winterset, died March 31, at his home in Eureka, Calif. at 95 years of age. Graveside services were held on Saturday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m. near Fort Jones, Calif. He was buried beside his wife, the former Eva Wallace and only son Wally.
He leaves a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter and three grandsons and several great-grandchildren.
Dr. Pindell was a brother to the former E. A. "Allie" Pindell of Macksburg, who died in June 1976.
