Blanche Pinckney, Jefferson City, Mo.

Services for Mrs. Blanche Rowe Pinckney, 90, Jefferson City, Mo., who died Dec. 3 at her home, were held Dec. 5 at the Buescher Memorial Home in Jefferson City with elder Gil McDonald officiating. Graveside services and burial was at Maple Park Cemetery in Springfield on Dec. 6.

Born Jan. 8, 1896 in Grand River township of Madison County, Iowa, she was the daughter of Smith and Ella Doty Rowe. She was a graduate of Macksburg High School and was married Dec. 6, 1915 to Ernest E. Pinckney in Winterset. He died in August of 1961.

She was a member of the Baptist Church, the Women's Relief Corps, the Wayside Garden Club and the Victoria Chapter 14 Order of the Eastern Star. She has been employed as a seamstress.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Winifred Ella Garrett of Jefferson City; three grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Relatives attending the services from this area were a sister-in-law, Mrs. Madge Stever of Winterset; and two nieces, Mrs. Janice Creswell of Earlham and Mrs. Annette Chovanic of Winterset.
