Mercedes Pickett, Winterset

Mercedes Alexis Pickett, 4 months and 30 days, died March 31, 2003 at her home.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 4, at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare of Winterset. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Mercedes Pickett was born Nov. 1, 2002, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines to Joshua and Alison (Dudney) Pickett.

She is survived by her mother, Alison of Winterset; her father, Joshua Pickett of Prague, Okla.; a sister, McKayle Dudney Handle of Winterset; a brother, Memphis Pickett of Winterset; maternal grandparents, Ira and Tammy Colbert and Gary and Donna Dudney, all of Lorimor, and Jerry and Lorrie Erwin of Ogden; paternal grandparents, Gary and Roberta Pickett of Prague, Okla.; maternal great-grandparents, Charles and Wanda Landreth of Afton, Martha and Leo McCaulley of Creston and Floyd Dudney of Lorimor; and paternal great-grandparent, Seeley Deer of Okmulgee, Okla.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
