May 20, 1981Services Thursday For Andrew Piatt
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 21, 1:30 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home for Andrew W. Piatt, who died at his home at 209 W. Buchanan in Winterset on May 17. He was 71 years old.
A lifetime resident of Madison county, he was born Feb. 4, 1910 in Winterset, the son of John Albert Piatt and Elizabeth Speer.
Mr. Piatt was a farmer by occupation, retiring in 1966.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include a son John of Olatha, Colorado; two daughters, Louise Gore and Phyllis Jean Bingham of Mt. Rose, Colorado; one sister, Florence Louise Leonard of Canyon Country, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Burial will be at Winterset Cemetery.
