MARY M. ORRIS DIED HERE FRIDAY

Steinmetz Conducts Funeral Services Sunday From Richards

Mary M. Orris, a resident of Madison county for 69 years, died Friday, June 22, at a Winterset nursing home. She was 81 years of age.

Miss Orris was a daughter of Rubin and Olive Boden Orris, and was born in Washington county on May 2, 1875. She moved with her family to Union county before coming to Madison county.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alma A. Hircock of Winterset and Mrs. Mattie S. Morley of Crown Point, N. Mex.; and a brother, Dewey H. Orris of Omaha, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. W. W. Steinmetz, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
