Lulu Fose, the ten year old daughter of Mrs. W. W. Cassidy was killed by a fall on last Friday. She was making her home with her aunt at What Cheer, Iowa, and while playing on the school house steps, fell a shrot distance, sustaining injuries to the brain, from which she died 24 hours later. The funeral was held at the Cassidy home on Tuesday afternoon.

Note: burial was at the Winterset cemetery
