MRS. A. B. PETERSON OF NEAR LORIMOR DIES

Mrs. Albert B. Peterson of the Deer Creek community near Lorimor died Saturday Nov. 4, at Winterset. She was 69 years of age.

Mrs. Peterson was born in Adair county Aug. 11, 1892. She was the former Gladys Cleota Newport, daughter of John and Lillian Newport.

In 1911, she was married to Albert B. Peterson. As a young woman she had united with the Deer Creek chapel Church of God.

Surviving are her husband; five children, Mrs. Nevona Lehman of Lorimor, Mrs. Opal Bishop of Martinez, Calif., and Mrs. Ruby Kirk, John A. Peterson and Mrs. Hazel McClain, all of Lorimor. She also leaves 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister; and a brother.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the Watts-Soll Funeral home in Lorimor, with the Rev. David Kizer officiating. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
