Loyal "Pat" Linn Pearson of Winterset died Thursday, Aug. 4 in the Des Moines V. A. Hospital at the age of 71. Graveside services were held at Avon, Iowa on Monday, Aug. 8.
Born Oct. 12, 1912 at Webster, Iowa, he was the son of Leonard and Etta Lamb Pearson, He married Georgia Ross who preceded him in death in 1956. He attended school in Winterset and was a laborer at the Gendler Quarry in Winterset.
He is survived by one brother, Ernest Pearson of Winterset and one sister, Gladys Kimmel of Winterset; four nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
