ETTA V. PEARSON DIED HERE SUNDAY

Funeral Services Conducted Tuesday by Rev. Warren Hile

Mrs. Etta V. Pearson, a long-time resident of Madison county died Sunday, June 30, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 70 years of age. Death resulted from cancer.

Mrs. Pearson was a native of Virginia, where she was born March 13, 1887, a daughter of Hezekiah and Charlotte Lamb. As a small child, she came to Iowa with her family.

She was married to Leonard L. Pearson on Dec. 15, 1906. They were parents of six children. The husband preceded her in death.

She leaves the six children, Mrs. Gladys Kimmel of Winterset, Sam and Loyal Pearson of Des Moines, Ernest Pearson of Winterset, Mrs. Zada Cambridge of Stuart and Mrs. Zola Mirci of Westminister, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Anderson home for funerals, conducted by the Rev. Warren Hile, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
