Ronald W. Cooper, 61, of Norwalk died of a bacterial infection Saturday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Norwalk Methodist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Moon Cemetery in Macksburg.
Mr. Cooper was born in Lorimor and had moved to Norwalk many years ago. He was an insurance agent and bus driver for the Norwalk school district. He had served in the Iowa air National Guard. He enjoyed hunting with his dog, camping and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna; two sons, Brad of Norwalk and Brent of West Des Moines; a sister, Linda Crabtree of Des Moines; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or his church. Southtown Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
