ALBERT DAVIS DIED ON LAST THURSDAY

Albert F. Davis, a resident of Madison county most of his life, died last Thursday, Feb. 23, in Des Moines. He was 57 years of age.

Mr. Davis was born in Earlham on Nov. 13, 1898, a son of William F. and Nora Mae Davis. His early life was spent in Earlham, where he attended school.

For many years he was employed by a road construction company. Recently his home had been in Des Moines.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Bainter of Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. Harry Brown of Des Moines; and three brothers, Ed S. Davis of Alameda, Calif., Cecil V. Davis of New Sharon and Frank L. Davis of Decatur.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Richards Funeral home in Winterset. Burial was made in the Earlham cemetery.
