OSCAR BAKER, 71, DIED FEB. 15 IN CALIFORNIA

Oscar Baker, a former Monroe township farmer, died Wednesday, Feb. 15 at his home in La Habra, Calif. He was 71 years of age.

Mr. Baker moved from Madison county to Red Oak 20 years ago, and to California 2 years ago.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Merrill White of Winterset; and two sons, Jim G. Baker of Leavenworth, Kan. and Walter B. Baker of Oakland, Calif. He also leaves six grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Jessie Fuller of Chicago.

Funeral services and burial were made at La Habra.
