THOMAS BUSH OF WINTERSET DIES

Life-Long Resident of This Community Was 38 Years of Age

Floyd Thomas Bush, a resident of Madison county practically all of his life, died at his home in Winterset Thursday, Feb. 2 after a lingering illness. He was 38 years of age.

Mr. Bush was born in Madison county, Aug. 14, 1917, a son of Robert and Myrtle Bush. He was married to Dorothy Hope on Oct. 30, 1937. They were parents of three children.

Mr. Bush was a carpenter by trade.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Charlene McDonald, two sons, Richard and Donald Bush; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Bush, all of Winterset; eight brothers, Charles of Oakland, Calif., William of Omaha, George of San Fernando, Calif., Clifford of Trail, Ore., Harold of Red Oak, Leslie of Macksburg, and Eugene of Anabel, Mo., a half-brother, George Armstrong of Macon, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Fern Monahan of Grimes.

Funeral services were held from the Richards Funeral home Monday, conducted by the Rev. W. W. Steinmetz, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
