Mary Lucas Palmer, California

Mary Lucas Palmer, daughter of Oscar and Anna Nehring Lucas, died at the age of 67 years in Sacramento, California on March 31, 1982. Mary was born in Madison county and graduated from Winterset High School. She then moved to California, which has since been her home.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel R. Palmer, Carmichael, Cal.; two daughters, Barbara Pressley and Judy DuFour, both of Sacramento, Cal., four sisters, Augusta Livingston of Washington, Ia.; Alberta Barrett of El Cerrito, Cal.; Lenore Pick and Theresa Lucas, both of Burlingame, Cal.; and one brother, Carl Lucas of Salem, Oregon; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Paul and George Lucas.

She was a member of Carmichael Presbyterian Church, the Easter Seal Guild, Tuesday Club and Kiwanians.. Funeral services were April 5, 1982 with interment at East Lawn Sierra Hills Memorial Park at Sacramento.
