Page 2, Column 4Beatrice Palmer Dies At Age 67
Beatrice Alberta Palmer, a former Earlham resident, died Thursday, July 31, at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. She was 67 years old.
Born in Madison county on Jan. 24, 1914, she was the daughter of Albert Hermon and Grace Mildred Waltz.
On Nov. 29, 1933, she was married to Clarence Palmer in Winterset. Mr. Palmer passed away in 1974.
Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Melvin Hermon.
She is survived by her mother, Grace Hermon of Earlham; three sons, Gailen Palmer and Ron Palmer of Des Moines and Dale Palmer of Indianola; two daughters, Ida Grace Allen of Chehalis, Wash., and Lela Bindel of Perry; three sisters, Bernice Ramey of Earlham, Josephine Hicks of Bloomington, Minn., and Mardena Glazebrook of Murray; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 4 at Collins Funeral Home, Rev. Eldon Cole of Earlham officiating.
Burial was at Earlham Cemetery.
